Our Team

Heather has been Dr. Shukairy’s right hand man(literally) since March of 2005 as his dental assistant. She is a Registered Dental Assistant and is very knowledgeable about her job and sincerely cares about our patients and their care. She takes great pride in helping and teaching patients how to improve their oral health.

She is married and has two beautiful daughters, Paige and Miya, that keep her very busy outside of work.

Wendy is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has over 30 years of experience in the dental field. She was born and raised in the Flushing area. She is the mother of three beautiful daughters and is now enjoying being a MiMi. Her outgoing and caring personality is a great asset in making our patients feel comfortable. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, camping, reading and gardening.

Kristi is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. She was born and raised in the Flint area, so she is a hometown girl. She is happily married and has three sons. She has always been very active in basketball, from playing in college to now coaching her three sons alongside her father. She is very knowledgeable and caring and will make sure your visit will be enjoyable.

Heather is the first face you will see when you enter our office, she is our Schedule Coordinator and has a smile to greet you. She was born and raised in Flushing, graduating in 2016 and enrolled at U of M Flint's nursing program, but decided dental assisting was the career she wanted to pursue. She graduated from Ross Medical Education Center in 2019 with an assisting certificate. We convinced her to be our front desk smile and she agreed, we couldn't have her hiding in the back. When she is not here she loves being up north or at home playing with her Great Dane Hazel and her Rottweiler King.

Rachel is a dental assistant with over a decade of dental experience. She was raised right here in Flushing. When she was deciding what career she wanted to be lucky for us and you, she flipped through a book and chose dental assisting. When she isn't at the office you will find her hanging out with family/friends and her mini me.

Kelly is a Registered Dental Hygienist with 20 years experience in the dental industry. She grew up locally in Clio, moving many times but now settling in Clio. She started her career as a dental assistant in 2001 and then pursued hygiene and graduated from Mott Community College in 2012. She is a fur mommy to her 7lb Poodle Bailey, she will love to tell you stories of his antics at your next appointment. Her passion is pottery at Flint Institute of Art, flower gardens and traveling when time allows.

Marquita is a dental assistant of over 13 years. If you have to have a dental procedure done, you may be lucky enough to hear her stories while she puts you at ease during your procedure. Her husband and her have 5 children that as you can imagine takes up all of their time, so we are lucky that she spends some of her valuable time with us. She loves to cook, entertain, and do crafts.

Sonya is our insurance coordinator with over 25 years of dental experience. She was born and raised in Otisville. Sonya started in dental in high school as a coop student, and fell in love with it and in 1993 she became a Registered Dental Assistant after graduating from Mott Community College. In 1998 she found a love as a receptionist, where she settled in her career. She loves gardening, raising ducks and chickens, mud bogging, drag racing, all while spending time with her son and significant other.

Sarah is the first face you will see when you come into the office, so be sure to smile, because we call her Sweet Saray. You may also see her in your treatment room as she is one of our experienced dental assistants. She completed the Dental Assisting program at Ross Medical Education Center in 2009. She gained her Certified Dental Assistant certificate in 2015.  She was born and raised in Flint and moved to Vegas in 1998 and met her husband there, then returned to Flushing in 2001. They have three beautiful daughters and one handsome son. She enjoys camping, family time and watching her husband play softball. Sarah proudly became a Nana in 2022.
